thousands of little stories, never simple and seldom linear, that form
micro-history. |

is the reconstruction, through the fragments of
stories told in the first person, of who the "Soviet Man" was, his
emotions, his desires, the defeats and the conquests in that vast
laboratory that once existed but exists no longer - if only in terms of
fast transformation-elimination - known as the Soviet Union. |
