daughter of Ottavio Pastore, director of Italian Communist Party ("Pcd'I").
The whole family transfers to Moscow and lives in the
Lux Hotel (the
hotel
where international communist leaders lived).
The father leaves Moscow and escapes to Paris at the beginning of the
Great Purge and Mirella Pastore meets him again only many years after,
in 1951. She is a regular at the Italian Immigrant's Club and
works for the italian section of the Moscow Radio. Currently she lives in
Moscow. |
