Sandro Misiano, grandson of Francisco Misiano. Francisco is
a communist deputy
in Italian from
1922 to
1924 and then
a Parliament
member. The family moves
to the USSR when the
grandfather Francisco becomes an
anti-fascist activist.
The Misiano family lives in
Moscow at the
Lux
hotel ,like other
international Communists. Francisco Misiano,
director of the
International Worker's Help, dies in
1936 of
natural reasons while escaping the repression.
In 1938 the father gets
arrested and executed.
After the war Sandro
works at
the
Moscow Radio
conducting programs
for Italian children. In 1959
he works in the Fiat plants of Togliattigrad taking care of the
relationships with Italy.
Subsequently he is assigned to direct the
foreign relations of the Vass plant. In the
same period he works as
a
simultaneous translator of Italian films for
private screenings in the Kremlin.
Currently he lives in
Moscow. |
