subject biography: Born at Kerch on 1938 from parents of Italian origins; her mother is called Paolina Evangelista. The entire family in 1942 gets deported to  Kazakhstan; during the trip, Francesca, loses three of her younger brothers. At the time of the liberation they don't return to Kerch, instead they move to Saratov, in the Volga region. Soon after, also her grandmother Marietta Evangelista, freed from the gulag, meets the family at Saratov. Francesca goes to a conservatory and works in factory. In 1997 she retires. Currently she lives with her family at  Saratov.
