Born on August 31st, 1926, son of Antonio
Gramsci. He spends the childhood getting to know the
father through letters who is doing prison time in
Italy. He lives in Moscow at the
Lux hotel with the rest of the
family. During World War II, he gets transfered
to a school of Moscow students. As the family
waits for the return of Gramsci to the USSR, the family receives news
of his death, but cannot go to Italy for his
funeral. Only in 1947 Giuliano is able to go to
Italy for the first time with his family.
Studies at the Music Academy at Moscow and
becomes a musician. Currently lives in Moscow.
